TERMOS DE REFERÊNCIA
A Universidade Aberta ISCED (UnISCED), em Moçambique, a Universidade Aberta de Portugal (UAb), a Associação de Educação a Distância dos Países de Língua Portuguesa (EADPLP) e African Council for Distance Education (ACDE) pretendem promover uma Conferência Internacional sobre Cooperação entre as Instituições do Ensino Superior (IES) para uma reflexão conjunta da melhor forma de unirem as suas sinergias para um trabalho conjugado, com vista a melhoria contínua dos seus processos, serviços e consequentemente da qualidade da formação que propiciam.
OBJECTIVOS:
- Fortalecer laços de cooperação entre as IES na CPLP e em África.
- Analisar a situação actual da cooperação entre as IES na CPLP e em África: Forças, Oportunidades, Fraquezas e Ameaças (FOFA);
- Identificar tipos/formas de cooperação entre as IES;
- Identificar oportunidades de financiamento de projectos das IES;
- Partilhar experiências de cooperação entre as IES, incluindo a questão de mobilidade académica.
PARTICIPANTES
- Reitores e Directores Gerais das IES públicas e privadas da CPLP e do Continente Africano.
- Responsáveis das áreas de cooperação das IES públicas e privadas da CPLP e do Continente Africano.
TEMÁTICAS
- A situação actual de cooperação entre as IES, na CPLP e no Continente Áfricano: Forças, Oportunidades, Fraquezas e Ameaças;
- Diferentes tipos/formas de cooperação interuniversitária: as boas práticas das IES;
- Estratégias e mecanismos de fortalecimento da cooperação da cooperação interuniversitária: Mecanismos de Mobilidade Académica;
- Possibilidades de financiamento de projectos das universidades na CPLP e no Continente Africano.
MODALIDADE DE REALIZAÇÃO
Híbrida:
- Presencial, a partir doCentro Internacional de Conferências Joaquim Chissano, na cidade de Maputo.
- Online, via Plataforma ZOOM.

TERMS OF REFERENCE
Universidade Aberta ISCED (UnISCED), in Mozambique, Universidade Aberta de Portugal (UAb), the Portuguese Speaking Countries’ Association for Distance Education (EADPLP) and the African Council for Distance Education (ACDE) intend to promote an International Conference on Cooperation, between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), for a joint reflection on how these institutions can work together to continuously improve the quality of the services they offer or provide to society.
OBJECTIVES
- Strengthen cooperation ties between HEIs among CPLP and Africa countries;
- Understand the current situation of cooperation between HEIs among CPLP members and African HEIs: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SOWT);
- Identify types/forms of cooperation between them;
- Identify funding, research and students’ and staff exchange opportunities for HEI projects;
- Share cooperation experiences between HEIs, including those related to academic mobility.
PARTICIPANTS
- Rectors of public and private HEIs in the CPLP and the African Continent.
- Heads of cooperation departments/offices working in public and private HEIs among CPLP members and of the African Continent.
SUBTHEMES
- The current situation of cooperation between HEIs among CPLP and African Countries: Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses and Threats;
- Different types/forms of inter-university cooperation;
- Strategies and mechanisms for strengthening inter-university cooperation;
- Funding opportunities for university projects in the CPLP and on the African Continent.
METHOD TO BE ADOPTED
Hybrid:
- On-site, from the city of Maputo and;
- Online, via ZOOM.

- Shared experiences;
- Increased synergies between HEIs among CPLP and African Countries;
- Cooperation between HEIs strengthened;
- Possible local cooperation forums between the incubated HEIs created;
